Editing Team
Hello!
My name is Alex and I am the co-founder of Watchful Wizard Publishing. Growing up in the Midwest, reading was always a passion of mine. Some of my favorite worlds to visit have been Tortall, Narnia, Hogwarts, and the legends of Sherlock Holmes. I still love to read fantasy and can easily be drawn in by a good mystery. As I have gotten older, I have found a love for perusing various cooking styles and adore the cheerful children’s story. Although I originally did not consider a career in publishing, I have always been interested in keeping up with both best sellers and the obscure books. Some of my current readings have been the works of Holly Black, Hugh Howey, Veronica Bond, and R.A. Salvatore. As mentioned, a career in publishing was not my original goal and in fact I have a degree in Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies. However, with this background, as well as editing for blogs for several years, has given me a sharp eye for the details. Now working as the Senior Editor for Watchful Wizard Publishing, I have the opportunity to put these skills to work in a new and exciting direction!
Publishing Team
My name is Jonluke, and I am the co-founder of Watchful Wizard Publishing. At a young age, I always had a passion for reading and going on adventures. By the time I went to college, I had already been to three different continents, visiting cultures, and people of all ages. While traveling, many times I found myself alone with a book. Some of the books I love are Dresden Files, Sherlock Holmes, Star Wars Republic Commando, and the Dragon Lance Series. Some authors I love to read are Tom Clancy, Judy Blume, Karen Traviss, Tolkien, Chuck Missler, C.S Lewis, Gene Getz, John Snyder, A.W Tozer, and anything historical. As a published author, I know the journey it takes to get a book from just an idea and into the hands of the reader. I have a deep appreciation for helping others achieve this dream. As the Senior Publicist for Watchful Wizard Publishing, I have the opportunity to use my skills to connect books to people everywhere.
